DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 22 -- THE Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Gerson Msigwa, has issued a call for Tanzanians to fill the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium today as Taifa Stars prepare to face Morocco in the quarterfinals of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 tournament.
During a rallying campaign aimed at garnering support for the national team, Msigwa and media and communication managers of Simba and Young Africans underscored the importance of a strong turnout.
Msigwa who also serves as the Chief Government Spokesperson, stated that a packed stadium would not only bolster the players morale, but also demonstrate Tanzanias passion for football to the Confederation of African Football (CAF)....
