ARUSHA, Sept. 26 -- TOURISM stakeholders have been urged to channel more investment into sustainable tourism across different sectors of the industry to create jobs, foster cultural exchange and make significant contribution to the countrys GDP.
The call was made yesterday by the Rector of the Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA) Prof Elianami Sedoyeka, while officiating the opening of the Arusha International Tourism Conference and Expo (AITC) 2025 in Arusha.
With the theme “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation”, Prof Sedoyeka said the conference challenges stakeholders to embrace environmentally and culturally friendly practices for the benefit of both present and future generations.
