DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 2 -- SIMBA SC confirmed that the search for a new head coach to replace former South African tactician Fadlu Davids is in final stages, with an official announcement expected in the few coming days.

Davids, who formally parted ways with the Msimbazi Reds in late last month, left to take up a new role with Moroccan giants Raja Club Athletic.

His departure left a crucial vacancy at the helm, especially with the 2025/26 season Mainland Premier League and continental competitions fast approaching.

According to Simba SCs Communication and Information Manager, Ahmed Ally, the technical committee charged with identifying Davids successor is putting the finishing touches on the recruitment process.
