DAR ES SALAAM, Nov. 4 -- ACCESS to business capital, affordable loans and markets has been among the key achievements of President Samia Suluhu Hassans first year in her current term, with the release of a 200bn/- empowerment fund providing women and youth with greater opportunities to grow their businesses, create jobs and build sustainable livelihoods.

The funding, released within the first 100 days of the administration, forms part of efforts to expand economic opportunities for groups that continue to face challenges in accessing finance, business skills and reliable markets.
