TANGA, Sept. 29 -- THE Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) Presidential candidate, Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan, has assured Tanga residents that her government will see the completion of the construction of an international fish market in Pangani worth 1.3bn/-.

Dr Samia made the vow in her campaign meeting in Pangani District today, elaborating that the market that will be built in Kipumbwi Ward will play a pivotal role in increasing income for fishermen and traders as well as boosting the economy.

She also promised to improve the livestock and fishing sectors in the region to make them more modern and internationally competitive.
