TANGA, Dec. 15 -- Tanzanias President and Commander-in-Chief, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, on Monday met senior commanders of the Tanzania Peoples Defence Force (TPDF) in a closed-door session at the Air Defence Military School (SKUA) in Tanga.

The meeting marks her first engagement with the top military leadership since securing a second term in office.
