DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 14 -- THE Minister of Defense and National Service, Dr. Stergomena Lawrence Tax, has congratulated  President Samia Suluhu Hassan after  being awarded the High Honour of the International Military Sports Council (CISM), describing her as an exceptional and exemplary leader in Africa.

President Samia received the prestigious award today, August 14, 2025, during a special ceremony held at the State House in Dar es Salaam. The event was attended by various national and international leaders, including the CISM Presidents representative, Major General Maikano Abdullahi from Nigeria.
