DODOMA, Nov. 8 -- LEADERS of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) have congratulated President Samia Suluhu Hassan on her victory in the October 2025 General Election.

These remarks were made at the Extraordinary Virtual Summit of SADC Heads of State and Government, held online from Dodoma Region.

The summit commended President Samia Suluhu Hassan for her electoral success and the peaceful conduct of the elections.

On the other hand, the Tanzanian  Vice President, Dr Emmanuel Nchimbi, said the government led by President Samia has taken significant steps to restore national harmony and ensure that citizens live under the rule of law.

Dr Nchimbi made the remarks while representing President Samia Suluhu Hassan .
