MOSCOW, June 4 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate (Honoris Causa) by RUDN University, also known as Patrice Lumumba University, in recognition of her contributions to leadership, diplomacy and social development.

The award was conferred during President Samias state visit to Russia, where she has been holding high-level talks aimed at strengthening diplomatic and economic cooperation between Tanzania and Russia.
