Sri Lanka, Sept. 28 -- Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe paid a visit to former President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Carlton House in Tangalle earlier today(28).

The visit occurred while Mr. Wickremesinghe was returning to Colombo from Kataragama. During the meeting, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Rajapaksa for the support he provided during his period of imprisonment. In addition, Mr. Wickremesinghe took the opportunity to inquire about the former president's health and well-being.
