MANYARA, May 9 -- TOURISM stakeholders in Tanzania are reporting notable gains following intensified international promotion through the films “Royal Safari” and “Royal Tour.” The films have opened new opportunities in the sector and boosted tourist arrivals from across the globe.
A tourism stakeholder based in Arusha, Mr Elibariki Sumari, whose company links international travellers with local tour operators, said the films have played a key role in revitalising the industry.
Mr Sumari made the remarks recently at the main entrance of the Mount Hanang Nature Forest Reserve, operated by the Tanzania Forest Services Agency (TFS), where he had accompanied a group of tourists.
