DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 15 -- THE Minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Prof. Palamagamba Kabudi, has appointed new leaders to the Tanzania Professional Boxing Regulatory Commission (TPBRC), following the official end of term for the previous leadership.

As part of the new appointments, renowned broadcaster Patrick Nyembera has been named the new Chairperson of the Commission, which is responsible for overseeing the growth and governance of professional boxing in the country.

Joining Nyembera in the new leadership team are Jacob Mbuya, who has been appointed Vice Chairperson, and Gordon Nsajigwa, who will serve as the Secretary General of the Commission.
