ZANZIBAR, Dec. 26 -- ZANZIBARs Minister for Agriculture, Irrigation, Natural Resources and Livestock, Mr Suleiman Masoud Makame, has laid the foundation stone for the construction of nine houses for prison officers at the Reformatory Training Centre in Hanyengwa Camp.
The project is among those being implemented as part of activities marking the 62nd anniversary of the Zanzibar Revolution.
Speaking during the ceremony, Mr Makame said the housing project would enhance work efficiency by providing safe and decent accommodation for prison officers, enabling them to perform their duties professionally and with patriotism.
He urged the beneficiaries to develop a strong culture of proper maintenance to ensure the sustainability of the houses...
