DAR ES SALAAM, July 3 -- The Force has called for close collaboration between the police, members of the public and private security companies in curbing crime and maintaining peace in the country.

The remarks were made by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ulrich Matei during a special occasion organized by SGA Tanzania to bid farewell to retirees of the company and recognizing employees that have served the company for more than 20 years through a program dubbed Club 20.

The colourful event was held at Hekima Gardens in Dar es Salaam and attended by a cross section of representatives from the Police Force, Trade Union Congress of Tanzania (TUCTA), SGA top management, staff and other invited guests.
