LINDI, Sept. 18 -- The Lindi Regional Police Force is holding five individuals suspected of illegally possessing 511 pieces of scaffolds used in bridge construction, along with a truck tire rim all found to be illegally possessed.

The incident was confirmed by the Lindi Regional Police Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police John Imori, who stated that the suspects were apprehended on the morning of September 16, 2025, at around 10:00 a.m., following a tip-off from good citizens who cooperated with law enforcement authorities.
