Dar es Salaam, March 23 -- THE Police Force has officially confirmed that Harbinder Singh Sethi, Chairman of Independent Power Tanzania Limited (IPTL), has no recorded criminal convictions in the country.

The Forensic Bureau issued a Police Clearance Certificate, reference number FB/FP/G.4/2026/VOL.III/49198, after conducting a thorough search of the national fingerprint database, which contains records of all persons with convictions.

The search returned a negative result, confirming that Mr Sethi has a clean criminal record as of March 18, 2026. The certificate is valid until September 18, 2026, and is required for visa and banking applications abroad.
