DODOMA, March 20 -- AS Muslim believers conclude the Holy Month of Ramadan, the Police Force has issued a comprehensive security assurance to the public ahead of the Eid El Fitr celebrations.

In a statement released yesterday by Police spokesperson DCP David Misime, authorities confirmed that strategic measures are in place to maintain peace and order nationwide.

The Force said that it is working in close coordination with leaders at national, regional and ward levels to secure designated prayer grounds and mosques.

Beyond religious sites, security will be heightened in high-traffic public areas where families and friends traditionally gather for festivities.
