SUMBAWANGA, March 9 -- PRIME Minister Mwigulu Nchemba has today, March 9, 2026,  laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Rukwa Regional Vocational Secondary School located in Majengo Ward, Namanyere, Nkasi District in Rukwa Region, worth 1.6bn/-.

The project implemented under the Secondary Education Quality Improvement Program aims to improve vocational education by equipping students with practical skills that will enable them to become self-employed and contribute to the countrys economic development.

According to information from the Prime Ministers Office, the project began on December 20, 2024, and was initially expected to be completed by March 30, 2025.
