TABORA, Oct. 5 -- CCM presidential running mate, Dr Emmanuel Nchimbi, has said that the significant increase in the agriculture budget under President Samia Suluhu Hassan has driven major transformations in the country.
He added that the acquisition of modern land survey equipment has acted as a catalyst for meaningful change, benefiting farmers across Tanzania.
Speaking to residents of Tabora during a campaign rally held yesterday at Utwale football ground at Itobo Village, Nzega District, Dr Nchimbi said that when President Samia assumed office in 2021, the agriculture development budget was 294bn/- but within four and a half years, it has risen to1.2tri/-.
