DODOMA, Oct. 9 -- NCCR-Mageuzi presidential candidate Mr Haji Ambari Khamisi has pledged that, if elected, his government will safeguard and strengthen Tanzanias long-standing peace, describing it as the foundation of sustainable development.

Speaking during a campaign rally at Kigwe Ward in Bahi District, Dodoma Region, on Tuesday, Mr Khamisi said peace is a core principle of NCCR-Mageuzis policy agenda and urged citizens to reject any attempts to incite unrest.

“Our policy at NCCR-Mageuzi is peace. Do not allow yourselves to be influenced by those who seek to disrupt our national stability. Such individuals do not mean well for this country,” he said.
