MOROGORO, Oct. 7 -- MZUMBE University has officially launched a Hepatitis B vaccination campaign targeting staff across all its campuses, as part of its ongoing efforts to protect the health and well-being of its workforce.

Speaking at the launch event held at the universitys main campus in Morogoro, Vice Chancellor Prof. William Mwegoha said the vaccination campaign is aimed at protecting staff from Hepatitis B, one of the worlds most dangerous and deadly infectious diseases.

“This initiative is part of the universitys long-term strategic plan to prioritize employee health, while also improving the working and learning environment,” said Prof. Mwegoha.
