DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 28 -- HEALTH workers at the Muhimbili Orthopedic and Brain Institute (MOI) have been given special training aimed at building their understanding of the role and responsibilities of the Social Welfare Officer at the hospital, so that each staff member can collaborate effectively in serving patients with social and psychological challenges.
This comes as the National Social Welfare Week continues to be celebrated from 25 to 30 August 2025 in Dar es Salaam under the slogan “Get Psychological Help; Strengthen Mental Health.”
