DAR ES SALAAM, June 17 -- A team of specialists at Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) has successfully delivered quintuplets, with all five newborns and their mother reported to be in stable condition following the rare and complex delivery.

The babies, three boys and two girls, were born over the weekend, under close medical supervision at the countrys leading referral hospital.

Their mother, Victoria Mkwizu of Tabata in Dar es Salaam, said she was deeply grateful for the care she received throughout the pregnancy and delivery journey.

She said the hospital team guided her closely from admission to delivery, ensuring she remained safe despite the high-risk nature of the pregnancy.
