DODOMA, March 17 --  Minister of Constitutional and Legal Affairs, Dr Juma Homera, has launched the ‘Sema na Waziri (Speak to the Minister) programme in Dodoma, dedicating two to three days each month to attend to wananchis concerns through the initiative.

So far, the Minister said, a total of 2,023 cases—mainly related to land, gender-based violence and childcare—have been received.

Explaining the rationale behind the programme, Dr Homera said it aims to address citizens grievances without requiring them to travel long distances to Dodoma to seek assistance.

“Through this programme, I will speak directly with wananchi and link them to State Attorneys for follow-up on their cases,” he said.
