GEITA, Sept. 22 -- PRIME Minister, Kassim Majaliwa, is scheduled to officially open the 8th Mining Technology Exhibition at the Dr Samia grounds in Geita Town today.

This years exhibition has drawn significant attention, with over 1,200 participants expected, more than double the 530 attendees recorded in 2024.

Speaking at a press briefing yesterday, Geita Regional Commissioner, Martine Shigella said the event had attracted strong participation from both local and international exhibitors, showcasing innovations in social development, business, entertainment and particularly, mining technology.
