KIGOMA, Sept. 16 -- VARIOUS stakeholders in the transport and logistics sector have met in Kigoma to discuss opportunities and challenges affecting cargo transportation and explore ways to strengthen trade in the Western and Great Lakes regions.

The meeting was organised by the Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) and brought together stakeholders from different areas of the transport and logistics industry.

Speaking at the meeting on behalf of the Kigoma Regional Commissioner, Kigoma District Commissioner Dr Rashid Chuachua stressed the importance of collaboration among stakeholders in improving transport efficiency and promoting regional trade.
