LINDI, Dec. 29 -- LINDI region has been hailed for effective monitoring of road safety campaigns during the ongoing festive season.

The Tanzanian Head of the Road Safety Education Desk, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Matibu Mbunja, accompanied by the Chief Legal Officer of the Tanzania Traffic Police, Superintendent of Police (SP) Mussa Manyama, together with officers of various ranks from the Force Headquarters in Dodoma, has conducted an end-of-year inspection of the Traffic Police Unit in Lindi Region.
