DODOMA, June 18 -- PLANS to construct a modern market in Kisarawe Town have moved a step closer following submission of a project proposal to the Prime Ministers Office (Regional Administration and Local Government) for funding consideration.

Deputy Minister in the Prime Ministers Office (Regional Administration and Local Government), Dr Festo Dugange, told the National Assembly yesterday that the proposal is currently under review.

He said this while responding to a basic question from Kisarawe MP Dr Selemani Jafo (CCM), who sought to know when a modern market would be constructed in the town.
