ARUSHA, May 30 -- THE Government will continue protecting local investors and supporting investments that contribute to social and economic development, Karatu District Commissioner (DC) Lameck Karanga has said.

Speaking on Friday during the launch of a new Oryx fuel station operated by Halyaz Company in Karatu, Mr Karanga said the investment reflects the governments commitment to creating a conducive business environment for local entrepreneurs.

He noted that the fuel station project aligns with the vision of President Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan to empower domestic investors and encourage private sector growth.
