DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 7 -- TANZANIAS Jihan Dimack is leading a dramatic three-way showdown for the Countrys Power of the Year title at Miss Grand International 2026, putting the country within touching distance of an automatic place in the pageants coveted Top 20.

Jihan was leading the fast-track contest with 42 per cent of the vote yesterday, ahead of Ecuadors Shyare Andrade, who had 40 per cent, while Vietnams Emoura Phạm was trailing with 18 per cent.

The stakes are high. Only two of the three finalists will advance to the final showdown for the Countrys Power of the Year title, with the eventual winner earning an automatic place in the Top 20 of the Miss Grand International 2026 grand finale.
