DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 4 -- TANZANIAN scholars returning from Japan have been challenged to turn the knowledge, skills and international exposure gained into practical solutions through their studies to drive innovation and improve service delivery in the country.

The call was made by the Japanese Ambassador to Tanzania, Amb. Yoichi Mikami during a JICA-LTTP reporting and send-off ceremony for this year.

Ambassador Mikami said the value of the scholarship should not be measured by the scholars successful completion of their studies, but by the impact they would make after returning home.
