DAR ES SALAAM, April 22 -- INDIA has extended an invitation to Tanzania to participate in the Fourth India-Africa Forum for Cooperation, expected to be held in late May 2026 in India.

This was stated at a joint meeting between the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Dr Samwel Shelukindo and the Indian Ambassador to Tanzania, Bishwadip Dey, in Dar es Salaam.

During the talks, Tanzania and India have focused on strengthening their cooperation through economic diplomacy, with the aim of increasing investment, trade, and joint development opportunities.
