DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 13 -- THE High Court of Tanzania has reminded lawyers appearing before the courts to comply with directives issued by the Tanganyika Law Society (TLS) and the Judiciary regarding communication with the media.

According to a statement issued by the Office of the Registrar of the High Court, lawyers have been urged to refrain from conducting interviews with media outlets within court premises during or after court proceedings have been adjourned.

The High Court has also urged lawyers to avoid making statements about ongoing cases that could potentially affect the proceedings.
