DODOMA, Aug. 11 -- Heifer International Tanzania has responded to farmers calls by leveraging field-based lessons and farmer-driven recommendations to address pressing challenges in climate resilience and post-harvest losses.
Ndisha Joseph, Dairy Quality Advisor, highlighted Heifers ongoing efforts to strengthen farmers capacity especially in efficient milk collection, better milk storage facilities to curb post-harvest losses, improved fodder establishment and preservation and climate-smart agriculture interventions.
According to Mr Joseph, the efforts aim at enhancing climate-smart productivity and resilience of small holder farmers production systems.
