CHATO, Sept. 22 -- THE Ministry of Health has allocated 5bn/-to complete various infrastructure projects at Chato Regional Referral Hospital, including a mortuary, laundry building, blood bank facility and ward block.

The Deputy Minister for Health, Dr Florence Samizi, made the announcement on behalf of Minister for Health Mohamed Mchengerwa during a visit to assess construction progress and healthcare service delivery at the hospital in Chato District, Geita Region.

Dr Samizi said the government, under President Samia Suluhu Hassan, has continued to invest in the construction and improvement of the hospitals infrastructure to strengthen the provision of quality healthcare services to the public.
