DODOMA, Oct. 12 -- THE government yesterday announced 41,500 new job opportunities for the 2025/26 financial year, calling on qualified Tanzanians to seize the chance to serve their nation.

The positions span several key sectors, including education (12,176), health under local government authorities (10,280), agriculture (470), livestock (312), fisheries (47), security forces comprising the police (5,000), prisons (750), fire and rescue (1,000) and members of the immigration departments (443) and other cadres (11,022).
