DODOMA, April 15 -- THE government has announced plans to install 558 street lights along the 76-kilometre Ntyuka–Mvumi– Kikombo road, currently under construction to tarmac standards in Chamwino District, Dodoma Region.
Speaking over the weekend during a public rally addressed by Prime Minister Dr Mwigulu Nchemba in Mvumi Constituency, Minister for Works Abdallah Ulega said the project aims to enhance infrastructure and improve safety for road users.
Mr Ulega said the installation of street lighting will expand economic activities in the area by enabling businesses and other operations to continue safely during night hours, thereby increasing opportunities for residents in Chamwino and Dodoma Region at large.
