MOSHI, May 11 -- THE government has reiterated strong collaboration with the Tanzania Midwives Association (TAMA) to ensure midwives continue working in a conducive environment that enables them to effectively carry out their duties.

The assurance was given recently by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Dr Seif Shekalaghe, during celebrations to mark Tanzanias version of the 2026 International Day of the Midwife held in Moshi, Kilimanjaro Region.
