MWANZA, July 24 -- THE government has challenged investors, miners, and other stakeholders in the countrys mining industry to embrace transparency, integrity, and accountability to ensure the countrys mineral wealth delivers greater benefits to citizens.

Commissioner for Minerals Dr Abdulrahman Mwanga said stronger cooperation across the sector was essential to creating jobs, transferring skills and technology, and expanding opportunities for Tanzanians along the mineral value chain.

The Commissioner made the call during the closing of the Fifth Local Content Compliance Forum (LCCF 2026) in Mwanza.
