DAR ES SALAAM, April 29 -- THE government has renewed its drive for local industrial investment and stepped-up efforts against counterfeit alcohol following Lomatans launch of four new Riviera brand products, reflecting growing confidence in manufacturing sector and the expansion of formal beverage production.
Minister for Industry and Trade, Ms Judith Kapinga, said recently during the launch that the government has created a more favourable business environment to stimulate domestic investment and support enterprise growth.
“This investment demonstrates that Tanzanians have the capacity to compete and invest in any sector,” Ms Kapinga said, referring to Lomatan, a locally owned alcoholic beverage company.
