CANBERRA, Oct. 20 -- THE Tanzanian High Commissioner to Australia, Macocha Moshe Tembele, on October 20, 2026, presented his Letters of Credence to Australias Governor-General, Sam Mostyn AC, at a ceremony held at Government House on the outskirts of Canberra.

During discussions following the ceremony, Governor-General Mostyn commended Tanzania for its distinguished history, particularly its contribution to the liberation struggles of Southern African countries.

She also expressed satisfaction with the strong relations between Tanzania and Australia, fostered through the Commonwealth and bilateral cooperation in various sectors, particularly mining.
