DODOMA, June 2 -- The Government has announced plans to strengthen the national economy with the aim of achieving a growth rate of 6.3 percent in 2026, while maintaining inflation within a range of 3 to 5 percent to ensure price stability and a conducive business environment in the country.

Speaking while presenting the Ministry of Finances revenue and expenditure estimates for the 2026/2027 financial year before Parliament in Dodoma, Finance Minister Ambassador Khamis Mussa Omar said the Government will continue to manage the economy with professionalism to achieve national development goals.
