GGML donates 1.2bn/- to support children's cardiac treatment at JKCI
GEITA, Aug. 15 -- THE Geita Gold Mining Limited (GGML) and the Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute (JKCI) have entered into a three-year strategic partnership to support specialised cardiac surgeries for up to 300 children in Tanzania.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), GGML will provide financial support for cardiac surgeries representing an annual commitment of 400 million marking a potential total support of 1.2/- bn over the three-year partnership GGML.
Managing Director, Mr Ashraf Suryaningrat made the statement on August 14, 2026 during a signing ceremony held at the mining companys premises in Geita.
