MWANZA, Oct. 10 -- AS the Lake Victoria Basketball League (LVBL) regular season enters a critical phase, all eyes turn to tonight, where two high-stakes match ups will set the stage for what promises to be a thrilling weekend of basketball action.

According to league official, Benson Nyaseba, preparations are complete for what he described as a decisive weekend—one that determines which eight teams advance to the playoffs from the 12-team league.
