ZANZIBAR, Oct. 2 -- The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training in Zanzibar, Khamis Abdalla Said, has affirmed that the government will continue to support efforts to prepare more young people in Zanzibar to become experts in space science education.

Khamis made the remarks while seeing off five Zanzibar students from the Karume Institute of Science and Technology as they departed Zanzibar for Muscat, Oman, to participate in the NASA International Space Apps Challenge 2025, which will be held in the city of Ibra.
