GEITA, Sept. 22 -- MORE than 600 participants from six five countries are Tanzania, taking part in the 8th Mining Technology Exhibition currently taking place in the Geita region.

Speaking to media outlets, Geita Regional Administrative Secretary, Mohamed Gombati, said the number of participants has been increasing each year due to the growing success of the event.

He noted that among the participants, 79 are from neighboring countries including Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Gombati explained that this increase is attributed to the commercial, educational, and experiential benefits that participants gain from the exhibition.
