DAR ES SALAAM, March 11 -- THE Tanzania Film Board has urged stakeholders in the countrys film industry to renew and update their operating licences before the March 31st deadline.
In a statement issued this week, the board called on actors, producers, directors, scriptwriters and videographers to register through the AMIS system to avoid disruption to their work.
“The board urges all stakeholders in the film sector to ensure they renew and update their licences before 31 March 2026,” the statement said, adding that compliance would help prevent unnecessary inconvenience in their professional activities.
