LOLIONDO, Oct. 4 -- A THRIVING array of wildlife and birds can now be seen roaming freely in Pololeti Game Reserve, with the natural vegetation flourishing beautifully across the landscape.
This positive development is a strong indication that conservation and protection efforts in Pololeti Game Reserve (PGR) have significantly improved, following the governments 2022 decision to restructure the former Loliondo Game Controlled Area.
The 4,000 square kilometres were divided into two: 2,500 square kilometres allocated to communities and 1,500 square kilometres upgraded to Game Reserve status, dedicated exclusively to conservation.
