DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 24 -- THE East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project contractor is equipping local businesses with skills and tools to enhance their competitiveness in the global supply chain through targeted capacity-building initiatives.
Under the programme, implemented by the Small Enterprise Supplier Development Corporation (SESDCorp), WASCO ISOAF, a level one contractor for the EACOP project, is helping local companies become competitive and compliant with stringent international standards.
Tanzanias EACOP Local Content Manager, Neema Kweka, said the weeklong training focused on global safety standards, sustainability practices, procurement readiness and Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) protocols.
