DODOMA, Oct. 7 -- THE Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is drawing lessons from Tanzanias experience in expanding communication services, particularly in rural areas, as it seeks to accelerate implementation of its own connectivity programmes.

Tanzania shared its experience in policy development, government oversight, implementation of universal service policy and coordination of communication services through the Universal Communications Service Access Fund (UCSAF) during an experience-sharing meeting held in Dodoma on October 6, 2026.
